Hey guys, so are there any notable mods for Dragon Rising yet? Or at least some promising ones that are in development? I have been googling and such, but so much crap comes up.
I finally got Dragon Rising yesterday, and I am actually really impressed by it. Somethings could of done better of course and there's definitely some tigns that need fixing right away (I just installed the latest path, haven't tried it yet) So yeah just wondering if thers already some notable mods amongst the community I should know about. A bullet cracking mod would be nice! At the least, lol |

The game died one month after release (at least around here), so I'm actually surprised at this thread.

There is no community for this game, hence no mods of note. The lack of dedicated servers was what killed it, regardless of the strength of the actual gameplay which is generally poor as well.

Yeah Op Flash did it first but MW2 has managed through it due to the nature of the gameplay which is very different to that in Op Flash. There still seems to be very little community in MW2 as a result, but it has not killed the game.
Op Flash on the other hand requires teamwork and a dedicated community that can run it's own servers and is a much more expansive game meaning the lag issues were intolerable. Im sorry OP but I really think you've wasted your money tbh. |

Well, to be honest I'm more into the Single Player for these games. There controls etc are just way to "stiff" for online play with these games. (ArmA II, etc)
I did just try the online, and there are only 5 servers, and the lag is absolutely horrible. The commands to select weapons, or do anything dont happen for minutes, lol. Also there was no money wasted in this game, haha. |
