Navy Seals
CIA
"Delta" but they used another name. 3 numbers actually.
Special Forces
LRS units *they had really badass stoner arms rifles*
Rangers
Air Force Special Ops. Mostly CAC's and I think a few para-rescue guys. Not sure though.

Just to elaborate on what Deuce said, Long Range Surveillance units are found at the division level in LRS Detachments and at the corps level in LRS Companies. While not considered special operations forces (they are 11B infantrymen), they do perform deep infiltration missions, are airborne qualified and some elements may even be military free-fall or combat diver trained. Their officers and NCOs are required be Ranger School graduates.

USAF has Special Tactics units, which includes Pararescue and Combat Controller Teams, and Special Operations Squadrons which fly the infiltration/exfiltration and support aircraft. USAF also has Tactical Air Control Parties (TACPs) that are attached to infantry and special operations units to call for and adjust close air support fire missions.

I think that's what we had, those TACP's. I wasn't quite sure what they were called. These guys would ride around with our bn commander and call in airstrikes whenever we needed them. Dude was badass!

From what I understand they're supposed to be attached to every Stryker BN; it's even in the manual. TACPs get a lot of high-speed opportunities, including MFF, combat diver and Ranger school, because they have to go where the units they support do.

Yea everyone thinks airforce doesn't have any spec ops units, they obviously do a good job of downplaying that fact.

From what I hear the training is some of the most intense, especially for PJ's. Some crazy guys! And they get to cross train with almost every special ops unit, as well as conventional units like eddie said, which should be a trip!

And that's what I like about stryker bn's. We have our own assets. We don't have to request armor, indirect, sniper teams, etc. We have them all to ourselves, so we can operate alone if need be. It's a great concept and i'm glad I got to be a part of it.

I remember we got into a firefight after our combat observation post was blown up. Our TACP's called in fighters to strafe the roads with their guns, and drop a few hundred pound bombs all over the city. Man what a fight! And those guys are GOOD at what they do.

That would be a pretty sweet job cross-traning with spec ops troops and calling down air strikes. Too bad I am aiming for recon marine slot.
