Teamspeak 3, Beta release is out
TEAMSPEAK 3 HAS ARRIVED!
Here's the new and coming thing, still to be tested later on tonight.  They claim to have audio positioning too...hmm... |

as far as i know positioning is different, you manually set users, you can put members in room, assigning everybody their position, so its easier to distinguish different people, but its not getting info from game
but seems like it supports external plug-ins, so if somebody will make it, then there might mumble-style positioning

I'm keeping my torrent up, you're probably already on it LeChuck.
 Shame it seems they are not up to speed with the server license key which seems to be required to start a server. Hopefully the app page will come up during the next few hours... |

Mumble FTW. However, I'll definitely check this out. If positional audio can work with PR I think it would be far superior to mumble.

Looks and feels better but im not sure about the codecs yet. Doest seem to Handle packet loss to well. Makes it sound like the person is using auto-tune.

Does anyone know if it has less voice delay than Vent?

The testing server that comes added to the bookmarks is always full...
It would be great if PR could host a testing server for a while so we can check how the new features work. |
