Default Experiences taking public transport

Discuss weird/funny stuff you've experienced while taking public transportation.

Today I was on the bus and this crazy lookin lady came on. The wise people immediatly got up and went towards the rear away from her lol. At one point she told some random guy "I'll cut you up into jerky and sell you at the farmers' market" LOL.

Yesterday was the bus ride from hell. Sat behind two homeless people, on my right was another homeless guy with one of those dyi belts and next him was some lady who practically used me as a table for her bag.

I take the bus to and from school for almost 5 years now, and by far the worst thing ive ever had was when the bus was super packed (some people couldnt even get on) and i guess the driver was feeling a little like a jerk that day. And kept on stoping the bus quickly making like people fall forward, wasnt a nice a bus ride lol

I've ridden a metro or two, but nothing really bad other then the funny smells you usually get in a crowd of people.

However oddly enough there was this comic that sort of touched on the subject (just slightly).

Weird stuff... from the top of my head / things I remember (there were loads of weird things tbh )

I was on the bus one day, on the highway, going around 100km/h, when suddenly the doors opened. I was sitting practically next to it, scared the living daylight out of me .

When I was in college, I took the subway every day. Drunk homeless people @ 7am that throw up so much booze and crap, that a trace of slime of literally 7 meters crawled accross the wagon :'(. Imagine the train slowing down at every station and seeing that slimey substance crawl forth and back . Not to mention the smell.....

Once on the train, a man opened the window, climbed through the tiny window (it's really small) and jumped OUT of the train, while it was moving (not too fast, we were nearing a station). The train hit the breaks and stopped almost instantly. They went looking for the guy and when they found him, they asked what the *** he was thinking. It turned out he saw the conductor/guard (?) and freaked out, 'cause he didn't have a ticket :-\.

I'm sure there's more in all those years (about 8 or 9) I've used public transport, but too lazy to type it all . It's been like 6 years now since I last used public transport. I love my car!

I missed one bus yesterday, because the times don't properly match up with my times, so I always miss two times in the week the bus, because the bus leaves a couple of minutes before I can get to it.

To make matters worse, when I finally was in the damn bus yesterday, it couldn't got faster then 50km/h, otherwise it would loose all power. So you hear the engine rumble, and all of a sudden you hear:"clunk, clunk", which is the busdriver pushing the gas pedal. Great! So I had to wait another 45 minutes on another bus.... I was out of school at 16:30, and I was at home at 20:00. Public transport sucks.

I have the best story....

I had been in town with my mates and it was getting late. I'd had a bit too much to drink and smoked a bit too much of the .. So i began to make my way home.

I got on a cross town bus called the 006... This is honestly the scariest bloody bus to even cruise the streets of auckland. The man driving was crazy, and the bus was packed with old people. This bus takes no logical route and has no designated stops. So here i was totally in my own little world traveling on the crazy bus.

Then it dawned on me that there were no buttons to push to stop the bus.. There were strings instead. I started to freak and started looking outside. I could not see any new cars or anything that would show that we were in 2009. My mind went into over drive and i rationally decided that i had gone back in time and that was the reason behind all this.

Finally the bus got to where i wanted to go, i started getting off and as i was half way out the door it shut on me.. No it did not drive off with me.. The bus driver realised his mistake, opened the doors, then sped off.

I walked home after my time travel experience, got almost the whole way home and then collapsed on the lawn.

The end

This is all true haha

The weirdest experience i have had, wasn't extremely funny but kinda strange, i got on this bus and it was packed with Neo Nazi Skinheads and they all had guitars.
I tried not to chuckle as i got on as they all stood there being all serious with their guitars, it looked quite amusing.

[R-DEV]masaq - It's rather difficult to "apprehend" a Tu-95... you try persuading a 200-ton aircraft to land somewhere it doesn't want to, when it has enough fuel to get home and it knows you can't/won't shoot it down
