Replacement for the knife
Amongst edged-weapon guys like me and those at Sword Buyer's Guide, My Armoury and Sword Forum International, the company Cold Steel has a mixed reputation. On one hand, they make great machetes and decent knives. They also have alright swords (except their grosse messer), but that's not really their thing.
And then there's this:
