I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit version and am confused about the x86 and 64 bit program files folders that I have.
So far all the programs I have installed have selected the x86 folder by default. Will only the programs that aren't compatible with 64 bit default to this folder? Will I get any of the benefits of a 64 bit OS with programs installed into the x86 folder? Furthermore, which should BF2 be installed to? |

I'd recommend installing all your software and games on a separate partition, not on the OS one. But the answer you are looking for here is x86. | ||
