Microsoft disconnects Xbox gamers
"Online reports suggest that as many as 600,000 gamers may have been affected. Microsoft confirmed that it had banned a "small percentage" of the 20 million Xbox Live users worldwide." Modifying their consoles to play pirated games got them the boot. Read the rest here -

 Karma... OH GOD! *EDIT* Check this out: Affected gamers were met with a message during the login process. It read: "Your console has been banned from Xbox" HAHAHA just imagine turning on your PC to have it say "Your PC has been banned from the PC" hahahahaaa.... maybe it actually says "Xbox Live" and was just a typo by the news What a twat! http://news.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/hi/te...0/10002915.stm He admits to pirating, and then goes off on how "expensive" games are, he has a job, and says 16 year old dont have that money... Friend of mine got banned because he pirated mw2 :P a day or 2 later he got his pre-ordered version in the mail and he had to buy a new xbox for it. He promptly did btw
