Mod for BF2 Demo

Hehe - did you guys know that even tho BF2 is out for years now - there is still a lot activity on the demo? (I actually play Gulf of oman since 5 years or so - never playerd full - only got full cause I wanted pr)

Anway - the demo is so popular they actually now brought a mod out for it too

Is it even legal to have a mod for the demo? I thought EA said the demo couldn't be modified...

Well, the demo is unpatched, hence you can still jump around while installing explosives, switching back to your primary weapon and head-shooting someone as you hit the ground.

WHen I last played the demo like 4 years back I thougth the guys playing there where more well coordinated and it wasnt few times nearly everyone had mic using vanilla tactics with BH capping and one medic one engineer and atleast one spec op. Dont think it is the same now though. IT was still teamplay.

IIRC its possible to play with 128 players on one server in the demo, (DICE were nice enough to remove that feature for the retail version

The demo is awesome.
I used to play it for a long time until I discovered PR which made me buy BF2.
