So im thinking about picking up a new gun for the summer since I should be able to play some more. My first thought was getting myself an A-5 with a flatline and a harness to hold some pods and air tank. I only play woodsball so I need something that's sturdy etc. Those fancy electronic guns from smart parts dont really interest me. Either that or one of the tippman X7's fit out to be like an M16 would be pretty bad ass.

Any suggestions?

By the way, most electros will be more than strudy enough for the woods, as long as you don't intend to go swimming, or use it as a hammer. Don't let Tippmann fool you.

I have 3 paintball guns tbh
1 Tippmann A5 with Expansion Chamber and Flatline Barrel (basic semi automatic, can't have E-grip or response triggers where I play and I hate wasting paint), then a TAC-5 and an old Piranha R6.
Bought a RAP4 Multicam uniform. I have a bunch of equipment, I won't bore you with the other stuff. As for Desertfox, it all depends on how much you want to spend, the X7 looks a lot more badass but it's expensive, the Tippmann A5 is a very dependable gun and can be upgraded pretty good at descent prices.

Yeah seems I can get an A5 with flatline/collapsible stock for just shy of $350 (before taxes) or a full X7 kit (MP5/AK/M16) for $500

get a Apex on the barrel of your choice, they will both perform better than a Flatline and are the same price when combined

And with the Apex you can choose to dial it all the way back and still have the accuracy of the barrel you're using it on. With the flatty it's always going to lob 'em out there, no accuracy at all

If I was to make a suggestion, if you have the cash to spend on an X7, look for the X7 phenom. The phenom is the best of both words, the air efficiency of an electro, with the option of both an electric and mechanical trigger, with the sturdyness of a tippmann.

The A5 may be cheaper, but remember you'll need to spend 50-100 bucks on internal upgrades for your A5 if you want it shooting with absolutely no breaks and past 15 bps. So the X7 is no cheaper really, considering it's basically an upgraded A5
