I believe I saw a tutorial somewhere for the type of modeling you are doing. I think your probably doing it the complected way a little. But I would suggest this.
Save what you have done and start fresh, instead of outlining the weapon and modeling the plane to fit(which is perfectly acceptable way of doing things), model each individual part. So for example you could start with modeling the stock then main body of the gun, the barrel, handle, trigger, magazine, scope mount then scope. EDIT: Found the tutorial on that type of modeling: http://tutorials.moddb.com/16/berett...ideo-tutorial/ I think its a good tutorial (although I belive the first video is not working correctly) |

WOW THANKS EDEN !!!!!!!!
I discovered i can model a weapon by using images, i didnt know someguy had already made a tut about it !! Oh and Rhino, how do i make it 3d ? lol..... Well Eden, the only reason why i used only 1 plane to make the model is becuz i thought it would be much easier that way...plus. this weapons has like a million dials and switches on it, so its gonna take a looong while.... Thanks again guys |

I believe it is easier to model that way in a lot of case. what you will find is you should have at least the magazine as a separate object (you have to take it out to reload) and for things like hand guns the magazine and top of the gun that moves back and forth (< technical term
) are separate objects. |

A msg-90 I think is the gun that is right? Very cool weapon, and a very very very x10 good start for a first timer. How old are you anyway?
