This is why I can't stomach any of the major news corporations in this fading republic Jon pretty much nails it on this one .

Problem with news (at least in the US) is that they are all fighting for advertising dollars. Thats the main objective, news is second. Which is why I like listening to broadcast such as NPR (National Public Radio) which has been as close as fair and balanced as you can get and this is back up by both Republicans and Democrat's.
This is why its important to get your news from multiply sources. |

CNN was a good news channel in its beginning but went spiraling down since Ted Turner sold it to Time Warner, it lost its vision of being a news network to become just a news relay.
