Amen to that Gaz, these days people forget what sacrficies the vets did.
You know I was the only student in my ENTIRE University wearing a poppy That article actually reminded me, I never went back to confirm my enlistment in the RAF. I've stood the recruitment officer up for 3 years lol |

Honestly I'm not so sure now, I had originally wanted to sign up in the Aircrew as pilot or navigator.
But now I'd prefer to be working on the ground with other troops, so was considering the RAF regiment. Then I thought about the Para's, so I'm all over the place really 'Course my real motivation these days would be to get in the SAS or the oppertunity to volunteer for the 'one way journey' idea of space travel |

LMAO, good luck on the two latter ones. Seriously, I have only just begun to respect how hard it is to keep the job as a pilot let alone get through selection etc.
I could fly straight and level today (2nd helo lesson w00t) without a hitch, but as soon as the instructor asks me to descend and do a bit of lower level flying I shit myself. Now imagine having to get to a destination, maybe that's easy, then you have to have the co-ordinates of the objective/target, you would then have to hover and let troops out or line up the helicopter for the gunner, while watching out for RPGs, AA(A?) or even heavy amounts of small arms fire. It's starting to put pressure on me how much skill, calmness, integrity, passion, brain power and just raw agression is needed to be any sort of pilot within the military. Anyway, on topic, as you can tell I am very much into the idea of a career in the RAF so this guy still being alive (from WW1 |

It's ok Trogdor, you can't affect me anymore, unless you get in Delta or SAS (I'll stop when I've had my fun)
