BF2 Hacks
guys mybe you lot can help me out with this(no im not hacking, as Evil homer will back up after the number of times he sniped me the other day)
but the widespread use of hacks, amplandDX a fps news and mod hosting site had adverts to a bf2 hacking site shocked i thought i go to punkbuster and post the link to the site, but no luck there, then tried cheat police to link there either so i googled bf2 hacks and got a huge number of hacking sites, whats EA / punkbusters stance on these and do they have a knowledge of these sites? and is there anywhere to report these mass of hacking sites? |

Not sure what action EA/DICE have taken against the sites themselves, but when the community make them aware of people hacking in-game then they are dealt with, the players that is
Is there a PB forum? Probably some threads in there you can post in |

There is a VERY low instance of hacks being used in PRMM. As for Vanilla counter strike I meen BF2 there were hacks before the full game came out. Some people just feel the nead to turn on the skillz and ruin games for every one else.
One of the reasons I love PR is word of mouth spreads so fast that if you are suspected of cheating you are under a microscope from other players in a matter of minutes. And that spreads from server to server very quickly so if you are suspected of hacking in one and you jump to another chances are the admin already knows that you are suspected of cheating.... |

If you come across any sites advertising cheats, or making them available to download, your best bet is to send a link to it via email to a PB staff member.
They won't stop the site, but they will look around it for cheats that their system hasn't been programmed to search for yet. To report hacks/cheats, email: research{at}evenbalance.com |
