Insurgency

Could any insurgency beta testers tell me waht the game is like, and every thing you know please, weapons, gameplay, tactics, graphics, sound ext.

The reason is becuase the HL2 mod, insurgency looks like it could be a very impressive realistic modern tactical shooter. Graphical it looks amazing, superior to PR, and the quaility of models and gameaply mechanics alos looks very good.
BUT there is very little media, and no videos, and the little there, does not tell me as to what gameaply will really be like. That is why i am asking beta testers.

I have not posted this ont eh Insurgency forums becuase a) - i have lost password and account name b) - i might get "told off" for aksing this, or some other crap, and not get a decent answer.

I want to know whether it is worth getting my hopes up for, I love PR, but BF2 limits alot of what could be done and Insurgency might offer somethng new and mabey better is certian respects?! cheers

Ye I might go put HL2 just to get the most out of me GFX card etc....perhaps in the future PR community can reunite with a different engine!

the last time i WAS a beter tester the gameplay sucked.
that´s why i have stopped participating in that, maybe now it´s fine ??
the grafik of course is excelent and running MUCH better than the BF2 crap engine.

the map areas wasn´t such big as the BF2 maps and vehicles was not useable
as far as i know only HMMVs will be useable in final.

Crysis my brother, crysis and the UK rapid reaction force, Royal Marines equipted with FIST, HMS Queen Elizabeth (new carrier) vs some Chinese lookin man - first release. Full UK army, with armoured brigades (C2's, warriors) - second release (set 2015, before replacement of SA80)

Atually, i love that idea. It works perfectly, allowing for time factors and it would be interesting. The Chinese peeps could evne use the same models as actually in crysis for awhiel or ever. 8 man squads, proper 100% amazing physics and lighting plus FIST! And merlins droppign radip reaction landrovers off! arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sorry

THis thread is in offtopic so it can go offtopic, so insurgency views AND games that PR could mod after BF2.

So, are there any other PR players who have played insurgency and can give their opinons. Info form recent beta testing would be even better, give us an idea if the game will be any good compared to PR.

It looks awesome i have had my eyes on it for a long time nowm but i havent played it.

I've posted about PR at the insmod forums, hardly anyone seems to play it over there.

Its been 2+ years in the making, I'd hope it will be good. Its just a HL2 based AA in my eyes.

Edit: I believe all the testers are under NDAs so they wouldn't be able to tell you much, if any.

I followed Insurgency until I got into BF2. It was a major wow when I first seen it, and amazingly still looks better compared to bf2. But no worries, PR is to ze rescue. BTW I never really noticed your sig Rhino, bad ass tornado... I am assuming it will be in PR? (the answer better be yes or I will commit suicide)
