Alright, check this video first. You can skip to about 35 seconds mark.

What went wrong? well, it was never the plan to take off

Hero pilot averted air show disaster after co-pilot hit throttle of giant bomber by mistake | Mail Online

Quote:
A retired RAF pilot was hailed a hero today after he wrestled a bomber away from a crowd of spectators and houses when the giant aircraft accidentally took off at an air show.

The giant Victor bomber - named Teasin' Tina - was only supposed to taxi down the runway and stop for a photoshoot before returning to the hangar.

But the bungling 'co-pilot' - an engineer with no flying experience - hit the throttle by mistake and the 75-tonne bomber lurched 150 feet into the air.
I think he won't be given access to planes any time soon... Typical PR pilot.

How hard is it to just pull back the throttle in those things? It seemed like they went for full power for like half the runway.

the thing with the old V bombers is that they have really short takeoff distances due tho their wing size so thats both a blessing and issue in this case.
