one of my all-time favorites...
and if it hasn't been mentioned already...
O Fortuna, which is a classic that's wound up just about everywhere
and one of the best Canadian contemporary "classical" group. Dance of the Dictators and On Death And Dying are quite good IMO. https://www.analekta.com/en/album/Ch...nople.441.html

Yes, yes I am a fan of classical music.
I've played classical guitar since 1983 and I've consumed a huge amount of classical music since then. And I still do. That is; listen to it nowadays. (I sold my classical guitar). Nevertheless, there is a bunch of great music out there. To make a long story short. If I'd to chose one classical piece of music, it would be "Rachmaninov, Piano Concerto No. 3" And the soloist has to be Martha Argerich. You can listen to movement 1 here.
You are right, Rachmaninov isn't "classical" as Bach, Beethoven and others are. Yet it is great. If you are looking for nice piano concertos (hmm... de Falla didn't call it that) I can recommend "Nights in the Gardens of Spain, for piano & orchestra, G 49". Symphonies? Check out Tchaikovsky's "Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36," written 1877 - 1878. Keep on listening, folks!
