Default Head Phones

Hey guys, I just got paid today

And I am in need of a good pair of headphones, not a headset as I already have one of those.

Since I know shit all about head phones, would anyone recommend me a good pair for a reasonable price?

depends what you want really, are you planning to use them while exercising? that would require robust headphones that won't fall out. Took me ages to find such a pair.

If you are looking for the bullshit teenage emo/goth/hypocritical -ebel-against-capitalism-wannabe look that is popular in High Schools, Skullcandy makes excellent headphones I have heard.

To be honest, I'm looking for good quality that won't fall off easily. Rudd, post up the ones you have?

reasonable price for the longevity, had these since I started uni 2 years ago. Running most mornings in wet and cold, warm and dry

Here is the next model, I don't have these since my old ones were fine.

Its great for the kind of speakers they use, but its sport orientated - i.e. water resistant.. The problem with them is that they aren't all that quiet for som1 sitting next to you, nor do they block sound from aroud you (Good for when your exercising outside, don't wanna get hit by a car)

Dont buy skullcrushers.
Pros: great/loud bass, only ones with subs (that I know of), foldable, look good, dj style movable earcups
Cons: cheap and plasticy feel, uncomfortable to wear for a long time, other than bass it sounds bad, runs through batteries quicker than I would prefer

On the other hand, Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket earbuds are great. My best set of headphones. Full and rich sound, comfortable, decent cord length, blocks out every other noise, comes with 5 sets of earbud heads; 3 sizes of gels and 2 memory foam type ones. The only drawback is the price is a little high for earbuds

i can only agree, sennheiser's have treated me great over the past years, they got my attention with a mp3 player i bought and they were included.

what you can expect is solid sound quality, in some disciplines as good as the 80$ more expensive bose ones..

i have sennheiser plugs for the bus, and then some sennheiser noise cancelling cans for the plane, and then a sennheiser gaming headset.

it's plain awesome.

with the cans my ears get a bit warm though, after 2h+ use, but i guess thats just my ears...

If you're looking for sound quality, you can't go wrong with Bose headphones of any sort.
