Well, as much as I deserve it, I have to say it’s kind of a cheap way to turn away from commenting on the topic at hand..
I’d much rather you do that.. unless of course, you have no comment.. there might not be much to say, in support of your view, you know..

Thats because I'm an ignorant 15 year old that knows little on the subjects you guys are discussing. I simply didn't want to join in. I, like others, am just tired of it. Another thing im tired of, is when people get out of hand and turn constructive arguments into personal attacks or 'flame wars.'

Besides, I don't see much of a point on joining in on this. Its not like your going to make much of an effect. I have never seen someone agree with the main point of the one they are arguing with on such subjects. This is what I mean:

Guy A:America sucks because of this this and this.
Guy B:No it dosn't, because of this this and this.
Guy A:Yes it does, because blah blah blah.
Guy B:Oh ok your right then. My country sucks.

Sometimes they may agree with eachother on certain points, or somone stands corrected on a certain topic by the one he is arguing with, but overall people tend to stay entitled to their opinion.

Its not nessecarially about countries in all cases, I just rarely, if ever, see one person agree with the other when they have totally different opinions, live in different places, etc.

We have a few people here who have the in ability to restrain themselves to lash out when others are right.

I hope everyone will not use it as an excuse.

Now, to get the 'ball rolling' again..

We have to deal with the Aussie & British press
Seems kind of pethetic, the American media masterbate when Britian anounces somethink like the support for the war on terror.

I think an none-European wrighting anythink about Roman or British Empires is alwase funny, they have no clue (comeing from a multi-sighted view). So for this guy to wright:
Quote:
Rarely a day passes on the internet without another article being written that claims America is a "hegemon," that we're "like Rome"
Is probably a lie, nobody i have met in Europe has ever talked about Rome in front of me -- Films like Troy and Gladiator are less apealing to Europeans because they are more clued-up and there lives are effected by Roman and Agean empies (Roman Cobble steets, aincent museums and alike).
