Even after watching this 24+ hours ago, it still cracks me up. The classic, stereotyped characters are the funniest thing ever. The drunken lone-wolf sniper, the victimised Engineer, the Anti-Tank who only is there for the rockets, the stupid support, the frankly hilarious Assualt who hates everyone, the explosive-crazed spec ops, the camp medic... all classic. Not forgetting the over-zealous commander.
And the scary thing is, its true. These are over the top, mad, but they are all based in the game. And that worries me. The tiny parts - the time the second Assualt walks on and just makes noises before walking off, is brilliant. The idle animation on the medic - "I just love these little medpacks, they're so cute" Plus the filming is top-notch, great timing and effects. Loving the cameraman moment. The recording on the voices is top-notch, and superb. "Snipers? I hate those muthaf*ckers! This one time I was climbing up this ladder and BAM!" |
