How many people have red-ringed an xbox 360?

this is why i bought a PS3 dont want to make this a Vs thread just pointing out. Alot of my mates keep getting them aswell though my main problem was it kept scratching the disks. Only got the rings once but the scratching about 3 times and i also got a malfunctioning plug/transformer (not sure which) that electrocuted me everytime i unplugged it.

Happened to me 1 time, never again, and i abuse my 360 like a little b****

ps- i only got the red ring cause my gf got over excited while playing halo 3 mp and she jumped while the controller was charging in the usb port which got damaged, when nothing was plugged in the usb it worked fine. Still got it replaced tho.

and my disks are fine, ive yet to have a "severely" scratched disk

Chill out eh budd, im only asking seeing as I don't know a single person who has ever owned one that has not had red-ring of death. I also searched and found precisely zero xbox 360 bashing threads...

about 4 times. and FYI i play more xbox ALOT more than my ps3

mine gets red rings now and again but i just hit it an it works fine, thats the good thing with the xbox - its one of the few things that can be fixed with a hammer
