I think it could work, in the article it said that it was a modified Mauser 98 bolt-action rifle with a home made suppressor.
And is it okey to call people "*****" on this forum? I really hope not. |

looks like it might have been changed to blend in with rubble more, i mean your not looking for a pipe that big as a sniper barrel.. or are you?

The pipe is the expansion chamber for the suppression system. Its that big because its a home made job and because if its based of a Mauser (rather than simply a mauser action) odds are its firing 7.92x57mm mauser, a very powerful round.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
