Well I am a very huge fan of Ancient History and History in general as well as the political stucture of American goverment. I did go to college at one point for it but didn't finish, most of my knowledge are of individual studies that have had its dead on accurate moments. Its all in the independant mind. Wether you believe what someone says or you believe it because you've researched it for yourself. If everyone in the world thought independently, it would be easier for things to be said by the goverments to its people such as(Only a example), "Hey Korea just tried to nuke us", on national TV and people won't be suprised because they know the situation which is diverted from the people in the mainstream categories, Those who can think for themselves have power over those who cannot, so who do you want to be, the one in power or the powerless.
So my question to the members is, What are your views on the influence that Media and Wall St. have over Main street America on political issues both nationally and globally. Keep in mind that the defintion of Main street in this selection refers to the smaller group of businesses/small businesses as well as people who have little to no political standpoint. Please try to stick to the topic, avoid starting arguments that are not considered healthy disagreements(something you would want to respond to violently in real-life). Do not judge or degrade someone because of their opinion, unless it is of negative reference to the idea of this poll. Please let me know if I made a error that was misunderstood above. P.S Please no comments like "Obama 08!". make a point and make it clear so everyone takes your comments as they were meant to be. |

Wall street, meh TBH. It can be a great source of wealth, but they need to be regulated more. Too much old boy's club BS.
As for the media, the few nutjobs who were entertaining to watch have become the rule, not the exception. Need to move back toward the middle instead of the insanely biased MSNBC/FOX seesaw. |
