Default How to keep your computer cool.

Not only is [R-Dev] Falkun great at vehicle coding, but he is also a great at thinking of innovative ideas that solve everyday problems.

With a high spec computer, it can be difficult to keep your computer cool during the summer.
I was ready to purchase new cooling fans or buy a more effective heat sync, or maybe even try some of these good ideas ( 10 Crazy Ways to Cool Your Computer | The Thinking Blog ~ Knowledge Grows When Shared! )

But Falkun has all the best answers! "Take the case off" he says. "It'll run cooler" he says.

The case was trapped in this cubbard because that's the way my desk was built. I had to drag the PC out of it to open the case. And with a little of inspiration from the ideas above, I came up with this this end product. http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/6981/dscn2393.jpg

Now my computer runs 20 degrees Celsius cooler than normal! I was even ready to buy a new motherboard and processor! Thanks Falkun on saving me money!

P.S. - The bowl on my desk was chicken noodle soup. Yum!

EDIT- BTW my computer is running like new. Long story short I had very terrible performance in all my games and this fixed all of them.

Brilliant sir! I hereby declare you as the greatest inventor of the 21st Century.

But anyways, my computer sits on a desk D: So I can't put a fan next to it. Unless. . .I could modify a fan to where I can screw it to the case and have it conveniently faced towards the computer.

The fan would annoy me because I would end up knocking it over and it would blow on my face

I do the same thing on hot summer days, pop open the case and put the fan down there. Keeps everything cool.

what about your computer?

whatever works, my fans are pretty good so I just remove the side panel like you have done if I'm ever worried.

Well they don't have the PC dangling out of the desk.
