As McLuv said, is the price difference between TrackIR4 & 5 worth it? Hopefully if I can shift some stuff I dont want/get a job I might be getting both ArmA & a TrackIR (and for a certain friends case, a new mic too ) this side of my 20th birthday !

Re: TIR4 vs 5, I'd definitely go for the 5, especially if it's your first TIR. The improved precision is really noticeable, especially in ArmA2.

Cool, thanks man. Shouldn't be that hard to fork up the extra cash.

I took a "short" look at the new guide and think it's a great piece of work for both the ArmA and PR communities. I linked the original guide in our official manual and the new version only got better. Many people interested in improving their tactics and teamwork will find this to be the best place to get new inspiration.

What I really can't figure out is how do you manage to write a 120 000 word guide on a game that was released a month ago? :O

probably a beta tester, and the quote at the start by 'Marek Španěl, CEO of Bohemia Interactive ' shows he maybe had support from the devs, but either way he probably is a beta tester.

Simple, most of the principles are good light infantry practices, to which a well illustrated manual is key. Its a good guide because of the bold illustrations, as well as some of the specifics on the methods of fire which you don't see in other guides. If anyone wants the reference for the light infantry manual i use (commercially available) let me know.

Many of these bits will be familiar to some tournament players that i have played with in the past and adapted some of the more advanced drills which are only suitable for very well practiced squads who play with each other all the time.

A more professionally layed out guide this time than the last one, and once more good effort once more mate.

Some good voice command information, to which i shall be putting a permanent link to soon.

Many of the commands are "universal" but there is a distinct American slant on many of the terminologies and commands which participants familiar with british contact drills will still easily understand.

Particularly enjoyed the platoon organisation sections and military symbology.

Great contribution to the PR community, and I will expect to see you at our next official PR event.
