Stopped playing Americas Army years ago but I think I just might try this. Also its about time this game got some realistic ballistics.

Sent you a message on xfire but here is a copy of the email I sent to support.


"When I start the deploy client all is normal until I hit the download button, select where I want it to install. A download status will pop up showing Package: 090606.full.fmap and it will stay at 0%. If I hit the details button another two windows pop open, the original download status shows as 100% with the other two windows showing 0%. I cannot get it to download.

Using windows xp 32."

Yes it looks very nice doesn't it? Don't play it though. Seriously bugged and very poorly optimised. My computer can handle UE3 on high with no problems; AA however is something else. All settings on low, V-Sync, AA, Weapon Blur off. Roughly 10-15 FPS on multiplayer. Friends of mine have had similar experience, with brand new systems.

Honestly, if the Steam version is in anyway as bad as this then AA will notice a huge drop in players.

Don't know whats wrong with you but after playing a couple of rounds with everything maxed out @ 1920x1200 I am having 0 performance issues. Still a couple of bugs present but overall the graphics are good, the gameplay is slow and its pretty fun to play.

I've been playing loads the last few days, got all the trainings up to expert. If they reset the stats I'll cry

As far a performance issues, apart from server side lag that the whole server gets, mine runs fine.

I can't log in atm, I think they are having server problems.

I heard that all the stats are being reset on the 17th, also I can't seem to do training as I crash whenever click "enlist" I crash.
