They are making a station walking expansion. Its not out yet but it will be out 'soon'

/or you can fly around in your pod... trust me thats fun >.o

I believe that expansion is coming this winter.

Just had an epic fight though, some hostiles were sieging a pos a couple regions away so we JC'd to a backup dread fleet and jumped in on the hostiles at range, then more hostiles jumped in on us at range. Final kills/deaths for our side (not just alliance) 25 killed, 47 lost. Considering the hostiles outnumbered us by quite a bit in the dreads/carrier area I think its not that bad. Anyways after all our caps had died since we outnumbered them in support the rest of their caps ended up logging off and dissapearing before we could finish alot of them off

I was only able to get one (terrible) screenshot though as I was concentrating on making sure I tackled caps

So what is the flavor of the month now in Eve? When i left it was all nano fleets and the t3 ships were about to come out.

ahhh... i love FOTM builds. Rolling a new one with the same setup in DAOC was always fun.

If i did play EvE again, i think like desert had said, i'd be a tackler or support. both seemed like fun jobs.

This thread got me intrigued. Got the trial last night and now I'm running around in a Comorant with a mill in the bank, seem to have picked it up pretty quickly and the game is pretty fun. However, that's after having 5 different ships in a few hours, I can imagine when the levelling slows down it could get a little tedious.

Reckon I'll get at least a months subscription. Is there any way I can get into some minor PvP with my destroyer or is this suicide?

How did you get a destroyer within a day!?!?!

Main thing is to build up your training straight away, and start buying training books. I've almost got my basic core competency cert, but some of the skill levels take almost a day, so Im not quite there yet. Apparently some advanced skill levels, can take upto 6 weeks

By the time i got my destroyer the corp i was in unfortunately got targetted by a merc corp and we had a very very one sided war. Needless to say i lost alot of ships and we had to move our operation from Caldari space all the way to Amarr space.

so i'm on the 14 day trial with 11 days left, running around in a thrasher with 7x 250's. just completed the Epic Arc missions, and am trying to find something to do. Training Min Frig and Space Command to 4 so i can start working on cruisers --> BC's.
