Default I don't need to aim, I x-fire!

Anyone else as excited as me about being able to ditch AOL Instant Messenger now that X-fire has incorporated it?

Take two chat-clients into the shower? Not me, I just wash, and go!

Now I've just got one resource-hogging app left to kill. I'm looking at you, MSN.

WAIT WAT?!

you fo shizzle?

i has question

i have a xfire account (chillorkill) and a AIM account (pyrsoadcs45, if i use Xfire for both AIM and Xfire, does it link accounts on one program (which is xfire) or do i need to make a new SN/account for the new xfire thing?

does that make sense? like if i cant login to pyrsoadcs458 on Xfire, or cant link both together, how can i do it?

Or you could just get Pidgin and be able to use MSN, AIM, xFire, Facebook, ICQ, Yahoo, MySpace IM, and a few others all in one client.

I would guess it works just like any other multi protocol messenger - you have two separate accounts that it logs on independently.

You enter your current AIM account details into Xfire, and access aol IMs through Xfire whilist in-game.

People still use AIM?

I remember being sick of that when I was a kid, this must be good news for you.

Indeed, and like *all* chat utilities, I only use it to contact other people who are already on it. I assure you if they switched to another chat client, so would I.
