our contribution to ANZAC was 1/10 of our population of just one million people, and half of those were either wounded of killed, every family in New Zealand was effected everyone knew someone who was lost.

Let us not forget either the men that fought in WW2 and many other battles.

I am proud to be a New Zealander and to sing our national anthem at the 6am service, the hour in which 64 years ago the ANZAC landed at gallipoli.

You will be remembered

Gurkha's shed their blood side by side on that day in Gallipoli, and we (Nepalis) are never gonna forget the bravery of the Anzac troops.

/will be at the Gurkha memorial in Gallipoli this summer, hopefully, if every thing goes as planned.

No matter what you think of the wars they fought in, or the wars we fight in today, they fought and died as soldiers, that is what these days are about; their bravery and those who made the ultimate sacrifices.

Lest we forget, my country will owe those men a debt of gratitude forever. They, and those like them, deserve more.
