-Lets look at the feature they showed in the video, Radio Silence. It's basically an area specific invisibility cheat. Wow, they managed to incorporate a cheat into the game! If they really wanted to make it a proper game instead of World In Conflict with some sneaky features tacked on they'd incorporate these things in the core game mechanics. Features have limited use, are easily abused, and add about three seconds of variation to a game.

It really doesn't matter if it will be played for 6 days, 6 months or 6 years, as long as people buy it.

most of the games released recently have been designed for this kind of public, that's the reason for the appealing graphics and high-tech design you can notice on Hawx, for example, or the "Elite Tiger tank" from Company of Heroes ToV. Also the "elite" treatment all the games get...

Older public usually don't have that much time and generally invest their money on one or two games that they'll play more frequently, thus giving more value to gameplay instead of "features".

Anyways, I seriously don't hope any new great game to come around too early. I leave the mods to be the heroes...

If I get it right an other of the main features of the game is that it is also heavily built around the use of multi-touch screens/devices which is starting to pop out more and more now and I guess that if you could afford one of those this game could be really awsome.
However I also guess that this is just the first in a cascade of games sheduled for release in the coming years that will have that feature as a main feature, just that this game is slightly to early for that market (since not everybody owns that type of hardware) and takes more of a ground braking role.
