Default April fools virus

Conflicker. Are you concerned?

How will April Fool's worm impact you? - CNN.com

Quote:
(CNN) -- Remember the dire predictions surrounding the "millennium bug?" The doom-and-gloom scenarios bandied about by security analysts on how computers could act when their clocks turned to January 1, 2000?
Computer users will not know that Conficker.c has infected their machine.

Well, researchers are hoping that a potential April Fool's time bomb -- the Conficker.c that is supposed to hit computers on April 1 -- turns out to be equally unfounded.
Personally I'm going to turn my computer off tonight like I always do, but I'm not woried about it. Hopefully it's just a load of crap and nothing happens. We'll see

I've heard of it from a show on the science channel called Brink they said to take precautions by updating windows and checking your anti-virus problems and all that stuff. but they didn't make it seem like a really big thing. could just be another Y2K.
