Since I played the terrible attempt at a sniper game Sniper Elite I had it in mind to make my own version
Itd be a lot like Battlefield 2 in look and feel, but youd be a sniper only. Coop with spotter perhaps. And multiplayer against other snipers. Various factions like US, British, INS, Russians, etc All nonsniper players are AI set up in squads and convoys etc. Itd have to have a good AI system for convoys, logistics, squad interaction etc. Thered be a complex morale and logistics system in which the sniper must work off of to bring victory to his own troops. Enemy squad holding a stronghold near your friendly forces vital supply line? Shoot the squad leader to severely decrease their morale and perhaps force them to withdraw. Find a way to halt a convoy and perhaps tanks dont run that day, or perhaps the enemy troops are less likely to blast away so many rounds at you and your allies, etc. Of course, theyd have a good air asset to call in on you if they saw your muzzle flash, heard the direction of the round, or if you took 10 shots in a row. Taking out enemy snipers would of course be vital as well but not as much emphasis would be placed on that. Id rather you have to work to set up in a GREAT spot than running around sniper hunting on your own :P I can just imagine it being such a great battle of wits. Watching the enemy, trying to judge where they will set up strongholds, what sort of supply line theyre looking for, etc [if the AI is really that good, but since this is a dream game, they are] Theres more to it, but mainly just a good sniper game with a great engine for bullet physics, great urban warfare with highly detailed/war torn buildings, great AI battalions to compete against, and possibly an implementation of a good solid multiplayer in which two sides of sniper teams[maybe 3 on each] try to help their team achieve victory |

Or an other idea would be somesort of quake III like game except it would focus more on controling gravity (although playing that cave/tunnel level on crysis yesterday made me reconsider that idea due to nausia and confusion) and such and be slightly more puzzly. Or just a massive quake III clone with up to 256 players on a quite small space map. Edit: another idea I've had in mind also would be a game based on the tv-series "cops", with reheheally advanced physics, ai and a random mission generator. Basicly it wouldn't have any story or such, just playing a mission when feeling bored ofc with friends in coop or police/thief scenarios. Also, it would give you a grade on how well you performed after each mission, for example, drawing your gun will reduce your score minimaly, slightly more if you had no reason to it. Shooting without reason even worse etc. | |

Graphics on par with Republic commando. would be designed to work with joe the plummer's computer, and without any rediculous purple force powers [*]how would it play? It would be basically a continuation of the Jedi Knight franchise with features from Republic commando thrown in, (i.e. mixing two of star war's best games, instead of making a crap game which still makes them money cuz its got "star wars" in the title.) A mixture of all out laser dodging fights, mixed with stealth missions and also a squad command interface with the squad AI featured in Republic Commando The major addition to the series would be multiple storylines, probably linear in nature. Also, this game would see the return of the X-Wing Vs Tie Fighter gameplay. I.e. a first person space flying experience, except this would use revamped physics that more readily take in to account the lack of gravity and air pressure in space. [*]what would the theme be? Id make a zombie survival game as in
friends in,add some survivor NPC,add a character customization system,real time weather and night and day,add it to ur own litle free sever for you and your friends to keep runn9ing day and night and just play it whenever you want(liek singeplayer,save at special savehouses OFC) and let ur friends join ingame And offcourse add a ze zombies Basicly this would be a zombie apocalypse simulator |

Or have a buddy on another roof and do like they did in the new Zombie flick, call out the details of a certain zombie and see if your friend can pick them out of the zombie horde and kill them :P Pile friends into a gun shop and stake out on the roof :P TONS of stuff to do, no need for lousy missions :P | |

MMOFPS zombie survival.
one map, lots of AI zombies... idea= survive! enterable buildings , movable objects and customizable character. have to eat and sleep ect. cars that you can do up and make look uber. all that shizz. like supahpingi |
