its really annoying and the control scheme is puke educing (wth is up with the Assistance off thing?). Ace Combat is way better than this tbh.

/wth is witht he story? A PCM with modern fighters??? WTF.

I kinda liked it, view distance is good, combat may be dumbed down a bit but its still fairly entertaining. Although like everyone else has mentioned, the controls are shit (although I actually found the voice commands useful) The assistance is stupid and I didn't find anywhere to lower mouse sens. So overall from the little bit I played its a decent game that for me is ruined by a couple of things.

Im too used to flight simulators, so this would make me laugh if i tried playing it.

I dunno, I thought it was pretty fun on the 360... though that 'assistance off' camera is ********* annoying. Also I can line up targets a hell of a lot faster and simpler by not using the 'guided approach' thing. Really now, you're telling me the simplest way of hitting a ground target surrounded by tall buildings is from the top? I NEVER would have guessed.

I still prefer Ace Combat, HAWX was bull. Especially those "speshul" things you were forced to do while flying.

I am the only one who doesn't care about the story and just enjoys shooting a lot of planes, albeit with a weird assistance thing, but just liked the game cos it's like COD 4 for planes? I mean, it would get boring after a long time, but meh, I'll play a mission or so
