Ghost Recon: Advanced Nothing!

This may be off topic and if so, I'm sorry.
If you have been keeping up with GRAW you know that the GRIN dev team just anounced the multi-player gametypes that will be included with the game. It has co-op, and Domination (capture the flag). There are a LOT of pissed off people that were looking for this game to be their salvation from noob run and gun and die, then run and gun and die again games. Most were expecting Last Man Standing or Team VS. Team at least. GRIN has said that the mod tools will be out shortly, but why release an unfinished game, and then expect the community to fix it?
I have fallen hard for Reality Mod, but was still hopeing that for the 1st time I was going to have 2 good game that I could make a choice everytime I sat down what mood I was in. The devs have promised that they will add new game types in patches, but I seem to remember BF2 saying that as well. They ended up putting all their time into fixing bugs and putting out ad-ons to get more $ out of you.
Anyway, nuff ranting, just wanted to let everyone know where things stood, and let people know a lot of clans have decided to speak with their money to get UBI and others to listen. They are going to wait to buy the game until the patches come out.

I have to say I never really got into the GR series, though previous installments always looked interesting.
However, having read the review (from Official Playstation 2 mag.) for GRAW, it looks like the developers really couldn't be bothered to follow-up with a good game. It scored a pitiful 4/10, for a series to decline so dramtically from one installement to the next is incredible.

With faster releases, it's hard to convince mod teams to develop for a game, can't bank on the mod community anymore nowadays to keep a game going. Seems as if it's before it even started.

Interesting, I have to admit, I've never shopped like that before. But wtih a Mod > any Game mentality, then you might aswell stick with HL2

I didn't really think it was too off topic since it is really the biggest compatition to PR out there, it is supposed to be a squad based tactics game. Thank you for moving it.
PLEASE don't look at the playstation 2 version when even thinking about this PC game, or the xbox360 either! It is a completly different game by completly different devs, with only a simular storyline!
The single player may turn out OK, but unless there is an awesome patch helping out the multiplayer, many clans looking for a tactical shooter may turn their noses up at it.
Those that did not try the orginal ghost recon on PC don't know what they missed. Yes, the grafics suck, but it is 4 years old. It was like old consol games, where gameplay mattered more than eye candy. You can pick the game up now for super cheep. There was a reason it was game of the year folks.

The preview vids for this game so far have TERRIBLE framerate. Makes you wonder why they would show it off, but maybe it's just an early version... I hope...
