Interesting, I trust gamespot as my source for game reviews. The Xbox 360 version scored a 9.2 for GRAW. However I know the PS2 and Xbox versions scored extremely low. The PC version has yet to be seen.

Yeah, I love it on 360, can't argue there. But I'm just worried about how it's style (I know it's not the exact same game but you know what I mean) will be received by fans of the PC GR games.

exactly, the first one kicked ass, then I *bought* (you can understand my hatred here) GR2 (the ps2 version) and it sucked balls - the best weapons in the game was the DMRs, which were one shot kill, scope or no scope (even on easy mode a guy oughta take more than one shot to make him fly up in the air and do a flip

the multiplayer mode was even more pathetic - nobody even tried to use tactics, teamwork, stealth, etc - they just sat down with an MP5 and spray and prayed - not even a damn machine gun!

anyway, you can see after my experience with GR2 I dont even plan on buying any version of GRAW...

Yeah, I got GR2 for XBox and was so totally pissed. The enemy AI was SO CHEAP whereas your squadmates AI was SO AWFUL. GR2 Summit Strike was actually quite a bit better and I actually bothered playing through it all the way. Never got to try any multiplayer though. Wasn't surprised when they cancelled GR2 for PC altogether.

One of my squad leaders actually bought and xbox just so he could play GR2 while waiting for the PC version (which was later cancled). He still cusses about it anytime the subject comes up on comms.
BUT,
the GRAW PC version is completly different as I said, and the devs have stated over and over that they are going to produce a game that hardcore GR1 folks want. Now with the gametype flop, everyone is either confused, mad, or hurt.
I have read in a lot of forums that people are droping their pre-orders and will wait till they fix multiplayer.

Yeh i seen that video to, it was an interview from the Fragdolls (ubi sponsored women gamers thing). The red headed one talking to the multiplayer developer and the director or something like that. Said that there are 200+ different game variations. I'm sure LMS is going to be one of them, it has to be. Probably the easiest game mode to make right?

It seems some of you are more familiar with EA and Dice then UBI and Red Storm Entertainment

Who ever was expecting GR2 to be a good game was crazy. When Ghost Recon, Desert Siege and Island Thunder were created UBI wasnt in full operation of RSE even though it became a wholly owned subsidiary of Ubisoft in 2000. UBI didnt actually do any work with the company till later in 2001-2002 i believe.

And frankly UBI likes to ... how do i put this... fuck things up?

When i heard that GRAW wasn’t being created RSE i was happy but nervous as hell at the same time. When i heard about GRIN being a Swedish company i was pissed but as work progressed on the PC product my pains were eased, and after learning they primarily create simulators, and have created sims for the Swedish military i was even more confident,

I don’t need to say much more to say that GRAW will be kick ass GRIN and wow i know even UBI has made efforts to get in the community. This is going to be one hell of a game i know it already.
