Still, any suggestions are welcome.
I've heard somewhere (Don't remember, but most likely while surfing the internet.) that if you live in the U.S. and want an FN Five-seveN you'll be somewhat at a loss. Reason being is that an FN Five-seveN has a high muzzle velocity capable of defeating body armor even in the most humble of standard FMJ ammunition. Thusly, making it illegal as it's too dangerous as theoretically it could be used against police officers and their body armor.

After all the 5.7mm round is considered for use in a Personal Defense Weapon category and is used in the FN-P90 and the MP7. It's designed to be compact but offer a punch.

On another note, if you like power and safety a Colt .45 1911 is good. If I remember correctly, the pistol has 3 saftey's on it. The likelihood of it discharging accidentally is slim and none.

Personally, I enjoy the HK MK23 specially designed for SWAT teams with the saftey switch on the side just above the trigger. I also like the Desert Eagle chambered for the .357 round.

Desert Eagles come in .50, .44 and .357. I believe the .50 has 7 rounds, the .44 has 8 rounds and the .357 has 9 rounds in the magazine.

I figure a .357 Desert Eagle still offers effective stopping power, but still has a large enough clip capacity to be practical. Considering most revolvers that are .357 only have 6 rounds, might as well get the Desert Eagle with 9.

Of course... I don't want to sound like a raving lunatic "Zomg DESERT EAGLE is for CSNOOBS!". But I'm also 6'3" and have large hands. It's basically a gun that I can grip well for my size. I can't imagine trying to grasp something smaller than a Beretta.

Take the Blue Pill or take the Red Pill?

The FN Five-SeveN is not illegal, just ridiculously expensive, and can fire out of battery.

I have brains too. That doesn't keep people from kicking in my front door or trying to mug me when I'm out.

Honestly though, I don't need to carry because I have two fists and two feet that I know how to use.

Warning someone of a gun that can fire out of battery is possibly saving their life....

What's illegal is purchasing, selling or using Armor Piercing rounds. Owning a gun that can but does not shoot said rounds is not illegal.

Also, as a side note, the temporary ban on "Assault Weapons" expired a few years ago. Not really related to the quote but I figured it might come up at a later date.
