andthing that is smaller then the palm of your hand is usually good... i mean, if its persional protection i doubt your going to be shooting more then 20 feet

Thanks for this, I read up on it and I am now clear on the subject.

As for the weapon, I was originally considering a FN Five-SeveN. Of course, I am still not old enough to own a handgun (since the required age is 21), and until I am I won't know what feels right.

Still, any suggestions are welcome.

Get a revolver,becuz of it doesnt have a mag with a spring you can keep it loaded a very long tme without maintainance,so you can just keep it somewhere hidden and once the sh*t starts htting the f an you grab it and youre ready to go
