Well, I'm not a through and through pilot. However to the best of my knowledge, when you fly a helicopter you pretty much set it at a certain throttle. You adjust your collective (Blade pitch.) as necessary for rise and drop.

So basically, the engine operates at a certain speed. But the pitch on a helicopter's blades determine most of it's fine tuned controls in climb and descent.

This probably explains as to why the blade RPM and video FPS seemed so stable.

no because the speed is equivilent to the "camera" in games FPS .

hahah very nice! That way we can have a collision mesh on the choppers which would force the DEVs to make fastropez right?
