If you have a joystick you can look around "track ir style" and control at the same time fine. Thing is, if you use a mouse it controls your head and the plane at the same time, so only works for joystick users.

Mwuahahaha.

You should be using a joystick to fly anyway.

Only major problem of course is aiming unguided weapons.

Although you can fix that by making you have to press control (so it resets itself) but can look around and control at the same time. Still only for joystick uses, you couldn“t mouse fly.

Still not as god as proper track IR.

Track IR at a 1:1 tracking ratio + depth perception simulating Video goggles would be sooooooooooo win...

You won't help anyone by bringing up this old thread. Mosquil is working on this subject but since it is highly experimental there is no telling when or even if TrackIR will ever make it into PR.

P.S.: I own and love TrackIR so I know why you want it. But simply wanting it doesn't help at all.

Actually I'd prefer Freetrack... Cause I'm cheap... :3

And I did help people. I, for one, did not know that Mosquil was working on that. :3 Thanks for the information!
