Ok. I have watched the vids. And I am sold on one if the [PR-DEV's] can contact the DEV's at "NaturalPoint" and get the extra code needed to do the full on 6doF in game fullly supported. As you can see from the Tect demo. It has been done. Just a matter of if the [PR-DEV's] wish to incorporate it. And also if there is money involve.

I use a joystick to drive vehicles, but my left hand isn't good at controling the mouse a the same time.

So, track IR for vehicles also, so I can look around while driving

I have read all the posts on this thread and no one has mentioned that the answer really has nothing to do with TrackIR. What needs to be done is to code the game so you can maneuver while mouse looking. It does'nt matter what you are using to mouse look. I know it can be done because you can drive a jeep and look around and still drive the jeep. Even in vanilla BF2.


BTW

TrackIR + Nvidia 3d Stereo is the way to go!

Wrong. We know it can be done in a limited way ingame right now. If I had a "TrackIR" it. I would be playing with it right now. But we would also like to see if the "NatralPont" game code could be added to the mod so we can have that extra groovy 6doF

afaik there is some legal issues that are the biggest problem, but I'm not sure.
