My shutdown procedure is this:
Once the wheels touch down, push the collective to the floor, pull back on the cyclic, turn off the gas shutoff valves, turn off the batteries. That turns everything off. Then, if I feel like it, I turn off all of the other million switches that are still up. It probably isn't the healthiest thing for the helicopter, but hey, I'll just be starting a whole new map anyways. Although there is a tutorial for the correct shutdown procedure, there is a legit way to do it. I might make a video just to answer your curiosity. Also, landing on an aircraft carrier.  Also, a six-minute long explanation of firing a guided AT missile. I made it as an alternative to the official developer video, which bores me to death.

Some of the ones I have:
Sharkpit 2.0 - Very nice cockpit retexture, too bad the original creator didn't make it compatible with the newer patches when they came out, instead some other guy did it and was "nice" enough to add one of his own mods into it, which makes the windows look like the ground crew had an icecream related accident in the chopper. The cockpit texture is nice and its worth it despite the icecream. B-8V20A 80mm Rocket Pod - The original 80mm rocket pods looked like crap compared to the quality of the actual chopper, esp with the painted black tips of each barrel, eugh. this one is much much better and matches the choppers model quality, only negative side is that the rocket inside the barrels wont actually disapear when you fire them, oh well, you cant have it all, and its not like you are going to see it unless you spend a lot of time in the external views or in head on collisions with other ka-50's. Worn Russian Airbase Textures - self explanatory, higher quality textures. FC2 A-10A Gys F-15C 3GO Su-27 combined pack - replaces the F-15C, Su-27 and A-10a with newer better models and textures. really nice stuff. All of the above mods work in multiplayer and wont get you kicked of any servers. |
