Default Wilderness Survival - Bear Grylls or Ray Mears?

For those that have an interest in wilderness survival, the outdoors, the natural world and extreme adventurous sports these two are always entertaining viewing.

The question is, which one comes out on top, in whatever regard you like, just a bit of harmless fun.

Personally, i'm sure they have a lot of respect for one anothers work, and i want to see the two of them on the same show

If we don't see it i'll set up the interview myself.

Personally... I've got a small idea of setting up some more "physical" events for the PR Community, watch this space. I will look into it.

Ray, the man is a true legend.

His program is better too because he seems to have this strange connection with an area, not just the survival stuff but its history and how the land affects those who live there.

Imagine if they combined and made Ray Grylls and Bear Mears.

My thoughts on the matter is really how they treat one another. I hear comments from Bear with him oozing compliments for Ray Mears, but when i heard how derogatory ray speaks about bear it kind of puts me off and detracts from his respectful and serious persona.

The word is they sometimes use the same crews, and that the trade secrets of mears are well known to bear but that he doesn't hang out the washing for all to see.

Two sides of the same coin is how i see it, excitement on one side with a lot of charity work, with peaceful reverence and respect of nature on the other side with a lot of environmental work and promotion under his belt.

x3 for Les Stroud being added

His show is a nice relaxed change of pace compared to Bear scaling cliffs with no ropes and drinking his own urine, although Grills gets a lot of props for being in the SAS and scaling mount everest etc.

LES STROUD gets my vote, as is quite relevent to the poll. Let me know if you want him added?

He relates to me more as I'm nether ex SAS or a world traveler.
