Ray Mears. Unlike Grills, he doesn't go to a hotel after filming has finished.
Plus, someone I knew did a survival course with him, threw up all over his coat and he was still a nice guy

LES STROUD = fail, the whole surviving in the wild while lugging around tons of camera equipment, and then complaining about it constantly, doesn't work. Its always about fear with him. Bear this and snake that, he never stops talking about all these dangers that never materialize. Theres a difference between being aware of danger and dwelling on it. His show Alaska Experiment was even worse, the danger of bears was mentioned every 30seconds.
I voted for Bear Grylls. But I also like Ray Mears. Being Canadian, I can only go by videos I've downloaded.(Lots of both) We're just recently getting that stuff on TV here. But, Les Stroud, on the other hand is on TV almost every day. I'll watch it, but I don't like it. |
