@ Gazz:

All those folders on your desktop are killing your profile. You should only have shortcuts to those files/folders on your desktop and not the actual folders or files. The larger your profile the longer and longer it will take for you box to boot up. All that stuff in your desktop folder is eating up your system resources.

Also the "My Documents" folder should always be kept as empty as possible. Never use it to store pictures, videos or audio in. Storing anything in "My Documents" will kill your resources big time.

This is what should be expected from a "real" M-16, when fired by an "expert" shooter! This applies to "expert" only. However, someone that can only qualify basic "marksman" by hitting 23 out of 40 targets will NOT shoot this well! Period!!!

Move the folders to a single folder that you setup on your hard drive. Either the root of C:\ or some other drive. Then make a shortcut to THAT folder on your desktop. That way it won't affect your profile, and you will have a lot less icons on the desktop to contend with.

As a rule, "NEVER" put anything on your desktop unless it's a shortcut. Unless a program install it there on it's own. And "NEVER" put anything in the "My Documents" folder. Even with things like videos or photos. Don't use the "My videos" or "My pictures" under the "My Documents" folder. Just create you own someone on the hard drive and save there.

I'll say it again, and this can go out to anyone NEVER, NEVER, NEVER keep stuff in the "My Documents" folder. It's just not a good idea.

Just make you very own document folders and keep the stuff in there. I usually make a folder on my C drive, and name it something like "my stuff" or just plain "mine" then I put everything in there with shortcuts on my desktop if needed.
