If you're in the same crowd as hiberNative here, then I'd strongly recommend Sennheiser HD205. Should fit your budget perfectly. If you need a mic built-in though, I'd say go for one of the two choices you posted initially.

True audiophile quality with a built-in mic is going to kill your budget unfortunately. http://www.ultrasoneusa.com/hs-15g.html

That's what I'm doing at the moment, It annoys me at times.

@ Jaymz, that hs-15 set looks more like what I'm after "This lightweight, supra-aural headset is ideal for long period of wear..." Have you worn them? They look more adjustable for comfort and $115 USD isn't too far outside my budget.

Thanks for the input chaps.

Hold off on the purchase there Smegger!

EDIT: Here you go,

Headphones : Beyerdynamic DT770

Mic : Zalman clip-on

Right there you have an amazing pair of headphones coupled with a clip-on mic. I've used a pair of my mates DT770's before, very comfortable and they sound really good.

In this picture you can see the material they use on the DT770's. It's really comfortable.
