Re: Question regarding the HIND Dice modeled.
Now that I think about it, there is no HIND in BF2, only the Mi-28 Havok. What model are you talking about?

Re: Question regarding the HIND Dice modeled.
The Hind made by Dice is the MI-35 or at least that is what they are claiming it is. And to be honest, with Hinds being sold to so many different countries you see all sorts of variances in its configuration. I don't really blame them too much for getting the model wrong in various areas because if you do an image search for the MI-35 or even the MI-24 you'll get about a hundred different variations depending upon specific model and the specific country. IE, some western countries put a FLIR on theirs while others did not. I've seen pictures with a FLIR on the left, on the gun itself, and not at all. All of which were the MI-35.

Re: Question regarding the HIND Dice modeled.
Show me a picture of the DICE model cuz I don't recall ever seeing one in BF2. Was it added in an expansion pack or something?
EDIT - OK it was added in SF. But I see no reference to it being an Mi-35. |

Re: Question regarding the HIND Dice modeled.
Oh ok. I don't see the issue tho, as BF is hardly accurate in what it depicts in game.

Re: Question regarding the HIND Dice modeled.
A lot of games are although I find it funny that they have multi-million dollar budgets but they don't spend much time researching things. I mean, it took me all of a few hours.

Yea, lets see if the OFP2 "extensive research" is accurate.

Re: Question regarding the HIND Dice modeled.
Heh, I put TOWWeapon ai template on the wire-guided hellfires and I'm impressed with the ai actually. Normally it has bad aim but when I do fly bys they'll nail every piece of armor in sight.
Anyway, on topic: since the sight is on the wing does the mean it has a static view or can the sight pivot inside that nub on the wing? |
