It must be a pain using the minimap with a black and white TV

There are only two things I lied about in that post. First, I use a 15" CRT monitor (although I have used a BW TV in the past) and that I have them in a eight PC cluster (which you can't do with Windows 3.1). Other than that I'm serious about the rest. Some of my favorite games were from when I started gaming so I kept my 486 PC just to game on it.

There are some pretty interesting things about that PC. First is, it's the same install of Windows 3.1 since I first installed it in 1991. Most of the components are original aside from the upgraded ram (it came with only 2MB) and the 150 MB harddrive. I also installed an awesome 2x CD-ROM which came with two of my favorite games, King's Quest 6 and Stellar 7. But perhaps the most amazing things is that it was the only PC I used on a regular basis until 2003 when I bought myself a Sony VIAO which I then sold and eventually built myself an awesome gaming rig in 2006. I'm also a computer science major (in progress) and worked various System Admin jobs even though I still used Windows 3.1 at home. Lol, that had my co-workers rolling when they found out I wasn't joking.

The cardboard box was a fairly recent addition. In 2005 I stripped the case away and built a custom case out of cardboard just for the lulz. I also used a cardboard box case for my gaming rig for a few months until I finally obtained the case I was looking for.

Curse those Russian engineers and their ingenuity... they finally found a way to make a 747 fly, just like all those so-called aerospace experts at Boeing couldn't. Oh the shame!
