They're Naval Special Warfare, but not SEALs; different unit and personnel.

The boat is a Special Operations Craft- Riverine (SOC-R) and it's only used by Special Boat Team 22, who specializes in riverine special ops. The conventional USN Riverine squadrons use the same boat in a slightly different configuration as the Riverine Assault Boat. Attached is a photo of the latter that I took at this year's NAS Oceana Air Show.

ive seen these guys....they were at my fob looking for the 2 guys that were missing for a long time in iraq...running up and down the euphraties....they hit an underwater sand bank and injuried 2 of there own...1 a broken hand and the other a broke collarbone....lol. they didnt see any contact but that didnt stop them from shooting and displaying thier firepower.

ill sum these guys up in 3 words...highly trained fobits (90% of the time)

They go through some pretty high-speed schools. As for secret, it's not that their existence is denied; it's just everybody has heard of the SEALs and fewer people have heard of them.
