Army people do you relate to any of this?
Hello. Just dropping this post to hopefully find people that can relate to the following.
I served as 13P in US ARMY. Spent a lot of time with the 13M people during live fires. Also exposure to survey equipment (practically the little box that said radioactive on it). I was in 2BN/4FA from 2000 to 2003. Stationed in Ft sill. All my time was spent at Ft Sill. I did not go overseas or to Iraq. A lot of time was also spent in Ft hood (North side for barracks) did 30 days at Ft bliss, all in the sand. Tasted great. Now I am having Lung issues and what seems to be balance issues. The lungs are showing scaring. SO here is what I am looking for. Anyone in survey, stationed at Ft hood or Ft Bliss, any 13M or 13P/D that may be having the same issues or even worse. I am trying to find out where this came from. Would be especially great if another person from 2/4 during the time I was there can relate to these issues. Thanks -Del |

Re: Army people do you relate to any of this?
Well as you probably know Depleted Uranium has increased cancer risks both for veterans and iraqies and their future children. Radiation overall can cause loss of balance and if strong, damage on inner organs - primarily lungs as they are first affected by inhaled radioactive material.
There might be some radioactive material there that they ain't telling you about and letting ya'll take the blow for. This should also be interesting, you might have inhaled/eaten some toxic fungus/fungi (how do you spell it in english?) It is far more likely that it is food poisioning through these various mycotoxins. They can attack any organ. Not a huge expert in this. https://www.schoolmoldhelp.org/content/view/785/66/ Use CTRL + F to search for your symptoms. It seems that you might be at stage 2. PS: Go see a good doctor, seems this can kill you if it goes untreated. |

Moved to off topic as this is not related to PR.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Re: Army people do you relate to any of this?
I am under medical care through VA system. That is how I know of the lung issue. Other than what I described I have no other symptoms as of yet. Ft Bliss would be the major concern here. I do know the first nuke was tested in Whitesands which happens to be right next to Ft Bliss. I am hopeing to hear from people that where stationed at Ft Bliss and how many of them may have the same issues. Who knows there could still be some nuke fallout in the sand at both Whitesands and Ft Bliss. The wind blows a lot out there. They claim what ever level remains is safe but they also teach if you see a nuke flash simply laying on the ground will save you from any harm. Fact is if you actualy see a nuke flash you are dead. May take a while but you will die.
I also know that many different type munitions where tested at Ft Bliss. You can see many munition casings all over the place. DU may have been tested there but I dont know. I cant find anything about what munitions where tested there other than the nuke at Whitesands. Thanks for the reply. -Del |

Re: Army people do you relate to any of this?
You think way overblown huh? I guess agent orange is way overblown. They said that was completly safe (knew it wasnt) and look at what it has done. The association for ALS and the VA admit that a person at any time of service is 60% more likely to develope ALS (lugarics disease). I guess that is way overblown as well. People that entered service from 1950 to 61 have developed health issues due to the vaccinations given to new recruits. Again VA has recognized this and adresses the problem. Another overblown issue I guess. I could go on but you may be to dense to realize there may be things out there they dont want the soldiers to know. Because if they new they would be entitled to benifits.
Go ahead and google what I listed and see for yourself. I am not feeding you garbage. The fact is there are many things done to soldiers listed as "Completly safe" and has caused many health issues. Some of which they new would cause the health issues. But I will leave you scratching your head. I will continue to wait for a response and I will not comment on your upcomming negative post on this one. -Del |

MrDel I'm not sure what to think about this thread so I will keep an eye on it. If its a real call for help I hope some one can answer it.
Others, please keep your negative/unhelpful comments out. If you don't have an answer for him you don't need to comment. |

Re: Army people do you relate to any of this?
How do you figure I got the nikname wrong. ALS is acronym for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis which is known in the US as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia . OK I did spell it wrong in the last post. My bad.
I hope this does not cause a drift from my purpose of posting. -Del edit:: thanks R-DEV. you posted at same time as I did. I am trying to keep on topic but is not always possible. |

To be honest, it's a bit suspicious that you have 4 posts on these forums, all in this topic. If I were you I wouldn't come on a gaming forum to ask for such help. It's rather more useful to look for people that did the same or were stationed at Ft Bliss/Hood.
