Re: Graphics Card advice

If you are interested, I am having a new GPU sent to me and have a pci-e x1950pro for sale. it's 40% faster than the 8600gt. I fitted a copper Zalman Flower to it aftermarket to make it silent and maintenance free. I'm wanting £30 + postage. but you need a decent 420w minimum PSU fitted that has about 32amps on its dual rails.

So this might be hijacking this thread, and i'm sorry if it is.

My graphics card i'm pretty sure just burnt out on me.

750W power supply
2GB Ram
E6600 2.4 Dual Core Processor
8800GTX Vid Card.

My question now is, can i send this 8800GTX back to BFG and get a new one.. or am i pretty screwed, and i am sorry if this question is stupid.. but i'm really not to sure what to do next.

Sounds real nice and a great bargain MrD, thanks, but my PSU wouldn't be able to handle it

Thanks anyway though

Bosco, guess you haven't read the reviews latly. The tide has turned and sites are saying the ATI drivers are much better, and Nvidia has been having tons of problems.

Re: Graphics Card advice

From my experience I can only say that NVidia does the job better for me - for example, I've had two ATI cards overheat and go fubar - no problems with my Nvidia's.
