Have fun with your card Pride, it will be a massive jump from a 7300le still

You could pick up something like an Antec case that comes with a PSU. Transfer all your old gear like MB and Drives over, and get a new GPU. That would give you a lot longer life for not much money.

COD 4 ran fine on my 7600GS with 512mb RAM. For what it looks like, COD 4 is epically nice on the ol' puter.

Pride bear in mind its the 8600GT not 8600GTS ( not sure if there's even such a card )
Also the version that Im offering is the fanless version, so it will draw alot less power than a stock 8600GT.

It is best to ungrade everything together to avoid bottlenecks, so I would only look at my 8600 as something to tide you over. Im very happy with it though - I bought 2 to run in Sli, but it didnt work out :/ so I ebayed the other, and kept this one, even though the rest of my system is much more high end. I would still keep it, but Im getting a new monitor and I think the higher res will be too much to handle.

Thanks,

/Pride

Pride, there is a difference between Pci-e and pci-e x16. Pci-e 16 is much more faster and has more bandwidth etc.. it is needed to run ANY newer generation card. Also, i doubt that your dell has a pci-e x16 since its 3 years old, and dell usually does not add extra expansion slots for gfx cards, ram because it gives them a better chance of buying a brand new computer from dell.

The Blue slot (not all x16 slots are blue btw) is PCI-E x16 where you put a newer gfx card, the white slots are PCI-E expansion slots for other things such as tv tuners, wireless adapters etc. As I said before you're better off building a computer from scratch as you will get the most benefits! If you can't build a new computer, then your stuck with your dell for now unfortunately because no matter what you can't upgrade anything at the moment.

Tofuwrice m8, i think you are getting your PCI's and E's mixed up m8, the white ones arent PCIE at all. The white ones are 'PCI' slots, the black ones are 'PCI-E' x1 slots and the blue and yellow ones on the picture are 'PCIE' x16.

If he is using a 7300LE, he has about a 99 percent chance he has a PCIE slot even on a proprietry motherboard.

Haha, you're right, i forgot! i always get them mixed up made myself look like a fool. Pride sorry i mixed up my PCI(E)'s not you. Anyways, you DO have a PCI-E x16 , and that opens up a window to buy a decent graphics card but your psu will be your limiting factor.
